Just notes

and not much more. i'm too lazy to go get the camera sitting in the van.

* Enjoyed mom's birthday supper at her house! We surprised her by having 'extras' along which they loved. A super-nice evening.

* Enjoyed meeting up with the friends from the old friends yesterday. I'm supposed to mention something here about who won which game but I'm a sore loser.

* Enjoyed today so much! A great meeting in the am. Then friends (actually mostly relatives) over for dinner. We were 14 around the table. The time goes too quickly.

* Enjoy thinking of the upcoming week. Our workers come tomorrow! And lots of other things to look forward to.

* I'm not enjoying the blog thing as much since there is Facebook now. Am wondering at what point the plug gets pulled on this and I just say what needs to be said over there? Seems duplicitous to me... (comments?)

  2. I kind of know what you mean about the duplicating thing, but the blog is journal memories for me, which facebook is not, and facebook is more social conversation/interaction which blogging is not. Sigh!
and Daylight savings time?? oh ouch! a sore point with me. I've always hated it starting in the spring and SO glad when it was over in the fall. I'm not a morning person, (and wish I was) but always love it when this time of year hits, and I start waking up earlier on my own. So here I am thinking I'm so happy that I can feel decent by 7 a.m. now, and all of a sudden I'm shoved ahead & it's 8a.m. before I can function. Unfortunately it doesn't just take a couple weeks for me to adjust either, it's more like 2 months before I recover that hour!

  3. I do both FB and Blogging, but blogging has my heart. If I had to pick, it would be bye, bye, FB! I check in on you all the time, and just feel blogging is so much more personal. I never was much for the BIG social scene myself, and when I first joined FB I felt I had been put in a room with 100 people, and I had to make conversation with them all. I have learned the ropes of FB, but like I said...keep on a blogging.

  5. I love reading your blog. You can write so much more than on FB, but if you don't enjoy it, it's up to you. It's not something that you want to feel like a chore doing.

  6. Keep blogging! I think FB is nice to keep in contact with people you otherwise probably wouldn't- but blogs are more of a little snapshot of your life. You can always link you blog to FB if you don't want to post the same things both places.

  7. Don't leave me! My younger son informed me that face book is for college age and young adult and that blogs are for our age. Sooo.... guess you have to keep blogging:) Wonder what he will say when he gets older!

  8. Uh-oh. According to what Dave & Kristi said, I must be ancient. I'm not even on facebook and have a blog...not a good sign.

  9. My 2 cents is to dive in headfirst and stay there with the blog and just dip your toes into Facebook. If it's any help, it seems like you have A LOT of readers, and we would all cry buckets of tears without your posts!
