No kids here all weekend! We just had supper out. A DATE if you will. Please don't laugh at me. But I miss the fighting. The din of commotion. The impromptu hugs. But they are with some people they love dearly. And we will enjoy almost two days of alone time....
Nine years ago tonight we were flying from Los Angeles to Guangzhou, China. We talked about that awesome time tonight.... and know we are very fortunate for three very special kids to us.
Having a little spring "break" after all?! Enjoy the quiet, and yes, we are so thankful that we can have the commotion, the hugs & busy too!
ReplyDeleteget off the crazy computer and go be romantic. or look at pictures of the kids ( ha ha ha!!) congrats on actually having a date! ironically enough we had a "date" tonight too...except we took the kids with cuz taking them to the play was less expensive than a babysitter..and i do believe at one point Jeff and I actually sat together..until another kid had to go potty and the seating arrangement got mixed up again!!
